MaterialForeman publishes free material-estimation calculators for construction, renovation, and landscape projects. Outputs are quantity estimates for ordering materials. Outputs are not structural analyses, code-compliance certifications, engineering calculations, or construction drawings.

No calculator on this site evaluates structural adequacy, fire-separation requirements, frost depth, seismic load, wind exposure, setback compliance, or site conditions. Code citations reference published sources (IRC, ACI, ASTM, IECC, ANSI) for the convenience of the reader and do not constitute a certification that any specific project meets those codes.

MaterialForeman is not a licensed engineering firm, architectural firm, or contracting business. No engineering, architecture, or contracting services are offered through this site. Any project that requires a building permit must be reviewed by a licensed professional in the applicable jurisdiction.

The calculators and content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Waste factors, pricing ranges, and code citations are drawn from published sources believed reliable at the time of publication but may be outdated, regionally variable, or inapplicable to a specific project.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MaterialForeman and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this site or reliance on any output it produces. This includes, without limitation, material shortages, material overages, inspection failures, code violations, structural failures, project delays, or contractor disputes.

If a court declines to enforce this limitation, total liability is capped at one hundred United States dollars.

Use of this site is at the user's sole risk. The user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless MaterialForeman and its operators from any claim, demand, loss, or expense arising out of or related to the user's project, including claims by third parties affected by that project.

Do not scrape, automate, or rate-limit-abuse the site. Do not republish calculator outputs as a competing service without attribution. Do not represent MaterialForeman content as having been produced by a licensed professional.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not subject to binding arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
